SparkFabrik is young. The company was founded in March 2015. We immediately found ourselves on a moving train, ready to do our best: for ourselves, for our team members, for our clients.
From the very beginning, we considered it important to create our own identity, a company culture that would represent us in the best possible way. We drafted the company’s guiding values and turned them into a manifesto, putting them to the test every single day. We made SparkFabrik transparent by making our way of working public: the Playbook is a prime example.
We have the ambition to create the company where each of us would have always wanted to work
A stimulating and creative environment, a place where team members can grow and innovate: taking risks and responsibilities, experimenting, learning from mistakes.
A very direct relationship with clients, built on honesty and transparency, going beyond mere technical skills and expertise to design modern, tailored solutions together.
A culture and a way of being that can be perceived from the very moment a relationship is established with a team member, a supplier, or a client.
A resilient and antifragile company, continuously improving its capabilities and competencies, able to adapt quickly to market changes and increasingly complex challenges.
Have we reached this goal? Simply put, no! But every day we work to get as close as possible to this model. We have made many mistakes and will continue to make them, because SparkFabrik is continuous evolution — every day it refines and defends its own culture.
What we know with certainty is that we do not want to be just another player in the market — we want to make a difference. To constantly raise the bar for ourselves and for the market, to be a point of reference in the current competitive arena and in the one where we will position ourselves.
We give it everything we’ve got. Every single person at SparkFabrik, every day.
Growth and the reason for being
During 2017, we found ourselves facing many new challenges: we moved to a larger office, welcomed four new people to the team, and brought in important new clients.
A truly positive year from many perspectives: given the excellent operational results, we decided to continue investing heavily in growth and in technical, methodological, and management training.
In 2018, we consolidated many of the efforts we had made and gained a great deal of awareness. We asked ourselves many questions — questions we wanted to answer in order to paint a picture of the future, until we arrived at a clear and deliberate strategy.
The two big questions we wanted to answer were:
- Why SparkFabrik? What is its reason for being?
- What are the principles and values that are non-negotiable for us and that make us different?
Yes, they sound like philosophical questions. The kind of questions that seem light-years away from day-to-day operations, apparently useless and devoid of value.
But it’s quite the opposite. The truth is that these are incredibly important yet incredibly complex questions: in running a company, it is generally much easier to know the “how I do it” perfectly and rarely the “why I do it”. So we set ourselves a challenge: to put in writing, clearly and concisely, the objectives we aim to achieve and the reason why, every day, with energy and passion, we do what we do.
We decided from the outset to set ambitious goals and not to settle for less.
The journey was very long. We dissected the company and examined it from many perspectives, extracting a wealth of valuable information. We went back into the past to relive why we decided to found this company, and we imagined the future with coherence and creativity.
We understood that to complete this first major strategic step, we needed focus and concentration — a creative space where we could give shape to our ideas.
So we found a secluded location to set up our “war room”, where we locked ourselves away for an entire day with precise objectives. A place in the mountains surrounded by greenery, a WWF oasis that hosted us for an entire day.
This time, the goal was to come out with a draft Vision and Mission, and with great effort and equal satisfaction, we succeeded. We then refined the ideas over the following days until they crystallised.
The Vision summarises the long-term goal to be achieved. A guide for the entire company, in terms of action and thought — a shared guide. Our efforts, our commitment, everything that makes us unique in the world: our identity.

Our Vision.
The Mission summarises and describes where we want to go and how we want to do it, what our objectives are and where we are heading in terms of company and market.

Our Mission.
Not a finish line, but a starting point that can endure over time — a beacon that will guide us on our journey.
This is SparkFabrik. A company that aspires to be a reference model in our market. A Vision and a Mission that project into the tangible dimension of the services and products we develop for our clients every day.
Thank you to every single person who has walked with us so far. Thank you to everyone who, from now on, will want to join us on this journey to share our values.
